Whilst we are on the topic of characters there are various ones to choose from, each with their unique skills and attributes so you need to think wisely which one is for you. One of the great things about this game is that once you have completed the story you could actually go online and play with your family, friends or complete strangers and help each other fight through the story mode with your desired characters. There are currently 4 acts or stages that you have to go through but then later on an expansion pack became available called Diablo 2: Lord Of Destruction which added new weapons, monsters, skills, abilities and an additional final act with an extra boss, Baal.
They story line is basically the same in the fact that you walk around the map killing the monsters in order to level up and give yourself the new skills and attributes required to yield bigger and better weapons. They looked amazing compared to the original which added a totally new 3D concept to the game. It added new concepts that some people thought was a major improvements, the main different was the graphics.
It brought everything that people loved from the original Diablo and then some how improved that making it much bigger and better and launch Diablo 2 as one of the most popular games of our time.
